A quick detour from fashion in this blog post.  I really haven’t had as much of a chance to write any SarahismsTM  this year but an issue that has come up in many ways, shapes and forms for me and a lot of my friends (both male and female) is the theme of Commitment.  Thus, I decided to try and encapsulate some of the emotions we’ve all experienced in a poem.  As always, any comments feel free to post.

NB: PFW: The Collection Vol 7 and Sarahism TM: Vol 5 shall, fingers, toes, EVERYTHING crossed, be about next month so look at for it, it’ll be a powerhouse! :D

What do I want from you?

That I can’t determine

What do you want from me?

Of that I can’t be certain

Able to love, to lust, to lose, to scream.

To dare, to dream, to wish the unforeseen

Lights in-between

Then the shade, the darkness

I think I like you

I think I love you

I can’t take this

I think I’m shaken

Complicated

Completed taken

Off the market

For a dream.

But you’re the best at creating

With you in action, it was breathtaking

Was I mistaken?

…Maybe.

But I know you want me.

Lay it out on the table.

The joker can’t cover our hearts

Pulling you out Jack, here’s your chance

What do you want from me?

Open your eyes

What do I want from you?

Make it right.
